When the third season of Big Love concluded, Bill Henrickson - due to frustration with his religion’s rules against polygamy - formed the “Church of Bill.” Look for this creation to play a major role on season four, which begins shooting in August. In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, Bill Paxton said he hopes the new church helps his character spread his word to a growing flock.

“I had lunch with the writers to talk about what we hope will be happening for the next three years,” Paxton said last week. “I’d like to see Bill’s fortunes rise, the casino investment pay off and provide us a chance to swagger in our lifestyle like in the movie Giant.”
An influx in money cash would allow Henrickson to invest in a new compound to compete with the oppressive Grant dynasty. That clearly appeals to the show’s star. “Bill is being groomed as a young prophet. I’d like to see him buy some land like they did in the early 1800’s and start a utopian town that’s more inclusive. I think he’s going to rise.”
But be careful what you wish for, Bill.
Douglas Smith, who plays Henrickson son Ben, said of his on-screen father: “If he goes off to a compound, I want to take over the three households - and annex Margene for myself!”.

While we wait desperately for season four of Big Love, we can’t help but go back through the older season of the amazing drama here at the Fanatic.
If you haven’t had a chance to see the second season of this incredible show that introduced us to some of the biggest sources of drama in the third season, run to the store and pick up the DVDs.

You will not be disappointed by the season that introduced us to Ana, Weber Gaming, the Greenes, and both Sarah and Ben having premarital sex. For now, you can look through some of our favorite scenes and Big Love quotes from the season:
Sarah [about polygamy]: I don’t think anybody knows, mom, and not everybody cares
Nicki: I didn’t marry for love. I married for the principle.
Barb: I didn’t. I tried. I don’t know if I have a testimony for the principle. But I love you, I love our family more and more.
Nicki: That frightens me. I don’t know that a marriage based on love can go the distance. The secret holiness of the institution. The sanctity of marriage. Without it, it’s just random couplings, with no purpose or sticktoitiveness. How will we survive the bad times on just love?
Nicki: Poor Joey and Wanda. They’re all they’ve got. No other spouses to lean on. How are they going to make it through this crisis with only each other?
Bill: You’re my wife, Margene. You can’t be seeing the girl I’m dating.

Less than a week after we reported that Ana will return to Big Love during the fourth season, executive producer Mark V. Olsen had to crush our dreams.
The producer told the L.A. Times that “Ana is someone I think deserves to come back into the life of the family, but there’s not a guarantee that it will be in the fourth season.”

Olsen goes on to say, “I talked to [Ana's portrayer] Branka, and I said, ‘You’re definitely going to come back either this season or in a later season. We want you to come back.’ And then what happens is we don’t always have a completely planned-out season when we go into the writers’ room”
Olsen continues, “If we come up with a premise that’s going to take us through this next year, and it relates somehow to Ana coming back into the family to cause trouble or to dramatize that theme, then she’ll definitely come back.”
Hey, at least this means we’re getting a Big Love fifth season more than likely and she’s coming back to stir up trouble!

Big people need love too and Fox is out to prove that with their new “larger than life” reality dating show More To Love. The series will introduce one plus-sized bachelor to a group of curvy women. He’ll date them and each week the contestants will be narrowed down as said bachelor tries to find the love of his life.
“This is the first dating competition show in television history that reflects what most real single men and women look like, which makes it instantly relatable to the vast majority of people in the dating pool,” said Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.
According to Fox’s release, the show is still casting and is set to air sometime later this year, however there isn’t any information on the audition process on Fox’s casting page. But the announcement was just made today so it’s possible they haven’t updated their site yet.

Remember how funny I thought it was that, after I teased two big deaths on Big Love, none of you tried to pry clues out of me? Well, now that you’ve started prying — to the point where I’m surprised EW.com’s emailbox hasn’t crashed, I don’t think it’s so funny anymore. So here’s the deal: You limit yourselves to just a few thousand letters a day about TV’s best show, and in return, I’ll run down the odds of these major characters meeting, as skeevy old Roman would say, “their heavenly father.” There’s also a supporting player I’ll be sad to see bite the dust in the March bloodbath, but that one’s identity I’m gonna leave you guessing at… until tomorrow when Ask Ausiello goes live.
Odds of the goner being Nicki: 16%. Because: Once Bill and her sister wives discover the lengths she went to on her father’s behalf, life as she knew it will be over. So perhaps, to her, it might seem less painful if life, period, were over, too.
Odds of the goner being Frank: 22%. Because: Once Bill’s parents started taking turns trying to do away with one another, planet Earth, never mind the Juniper Creek compound, was no longer big enough for both of them.
Odds of the goner being Lois: 11%. Because: See above. But her odds of surviving are better than her “better” half’s because c’mon, can you imagine an episode without Grace Zabriskie? I sure can’t.
Odds of the goner being Sarah: 17%. Because: With all hell breaking loose in the Henricksons’ increasingly small world, it would be awfully easy for an innocent to get caught in the crossfire. Plus, after Mamma Mia! the big screen is beckoning Amanda Seyfried.
Odds of the goner being Roman: 13%. Because: You don’t have to be a prophet to foresee that someone with as many enemies as wives — who’s already been shot once — is a serious contender buy the farm.
Odds of the goner being Alby: 9%. Because: You know you’re in trouble when your own mother takes out a hit on you. And if Dad were moved to do the same, something tells me the only boys “the usurper” would be trysting with would be angels.
Odds of the goner being Ana: 3%. Because: Her murder would afford the Greenes the satisfaction of taking away one of Bill’s wives without us having to lose Barb, Margene or Nicki. Of course, first the character would have to be reintroduced…
Odds of the goner being Wanda: 9%. Because: Let’s face it, Joey’s whack-job wife spends every day with one foot in insanity, the other in the grave. The only question is, would she do herself in, or would someone else do it for her?
So what do you think? I can tell you with 100% certainty that the soon-to-be dearly departed is among the contenders above. Who’s it gonna be? And, maybe even more interesting, who do you want it to be?
